Power station discounts look enormous on paper. Five checks sort the real ones out in under a minute.
Ignore the “was” price
The brand sets it, and it can stay inflated for months. Compare with the lowest price we have tracked instead.
Compare price per kWh
A “50% off” 2kWh unit can cost more per kWh than a “20% off” 3kWh one. On Sep 26, 1kWh-class units ranged from $390 to $731 per kWh.
Price the station alone first
Solar bundles carry the biggest headline discounts because the panel is priced high to begin with.
Flash and member prices are short
EcoFlow shows members-only prices and several brands run sales that last a few hours. Check on the day.
Check it is the current model
Clearance on a replaced model can be fine, but compare it with its successor at the same price. Our reviews flag replaced models.

Before that, Amazon’s Prime Big Deal Days run on October 6 and 7, 2026.
Is Black Friday the cheapest time to buy a portable power station?
Usually, yes, but not by as much as the banners suggest. In 2025 the Jackery Explorer 1000 v2 sold for $479 on jackery.com during Black Friday, while its regular price in September 2026 is $559. Brands also run flash sales all year: Anker SOLIX held 72-hour sales every few weeks in early 2026. Compare the price with the lowest price we have tracked, not with the list price.
Do Black Friday power station prices last until Cyber Monday?
Mostly. In 2025, Jackery and Anker SOLIX prices held through Cyber Monday, and some Anker prices dropped further after November 20. EcoFlow’s lowest prices were rotating 24 to 48 hour flash deals, and BLUETTI used 72-hour flash windows in 2024. If a flash price fits your budget, do not count on it coming back.
What happens if the price drops after I buy?
All four brands have advertised a 30-day price match or refund of the difference on their own store, with exclusions. EcoFlow excludes flash-sale and members-only prices. A purchase made in the first half of November is usually still within 30 days on Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Check the terms on the promotion page on the day you buy.

What size power station should I buy on Black Friday?
Match it to your devices, not to the discount. A 1kWh unit covers a CPAP for two to three nights or a full-size fridge for 6 to 8 hours. Around 2kWh runs a full-size fridge for 12 to 17 hours. For a full 24-hour outage, plan on 2,500Wh or more. Home backup with a well pump or 240V appliances needs 3kWh or more and enough output.
