The Anker SOLIX C800 Plus was Anker's 768Wh portable power station with a twist: two detachable camping lights built into the unit. Anker no longer sells it new in the US. Its US product page now leads to the C1000 Gen 2, and the C800 Plus was only still listed on Anker's Australian store in late September 2026.
If you own one, or you are looking at a used unit, this page gives its real specs and what it can run. If you want a new Anker of the same kind, it shows the two models to look at instead. The specs come from Anker's product pages, checked on September 30, 2026. BackupPowerHub doesn't run lab tests (see our editorial guidelines), so the runtimes below are calculations.
- Status: discontinued in the US. Anker's C800 and C800 Plus pages both lead to the C1000 Gen 2.
- What it was: 768Wh, 1,200W, full in 58 minutes from the wall, and two detachable lights with three modes.
- Buy instead: the C1000 Gen 2 for more capacity and faster charging, or the C1000 if you want a built-in light and an expansion battery.

The Camping Lights: What Made the C800 Plus Different
Anker called the C800 Plus the first portable power station with 3-mode camping lights. The two lights detach from the unit, so you can carry one to the camp table while the station stays by the tent. Anker gives up to 8 hours at maximum brightness and up to 130 hours at the lowest setting. To recharge them, you put them back on the station while it is powered on.
None of the Anker SOLIX models sold new in the US on September 30, 2026 lists detachable lights. The closest is the C1000, which Anker lists with a built-in light bar. For other ways to light a campsite from a power station, see our camping lighting guide.
How Long Will the C800 Plus Run Your Devices?
Estimates for one full charge, with our formula: 768Wh × 0.85 ÷ the device's average draw. The 0.85 factor covers inverter losses.
| Device (average draw) | Runtime on the C800 Plus |
|---|---|
| Phone charging (15W) | About 44 hours |
| CPAP, no humidifier (40W) | About 16 hours |
| 12V camping fridge (50W) | About 13 hours |
| Laptop (60W) | About 11 hours |
| Full-size fridge (120W) | About 5.5 hours |
| Electric blanket (100W) | About 6.5 hours |
Rounded to the nearest half hour under 10 hours and to the nearest hour above. A fridge cycles on and off, so check its label for its real average draw. For your own devices, use our power station calculator.
The 1,200W output covers laptops, fans, a small blender or a CPAP. Hair dryers, kettles and space heaters often draw more than that: Anker's SurgePad lets heat-generating devices such as kettles run on up to 1,600W, but it doesn't support precision instruments or devices with strict voltage requirements.

Buying a Used C800 Plus
You may still find the C800 Plus from other sellers or second hand. A few checks before you buy:
- Make sure both lights come with it. They detach, so they are easy to lose, and they are the reason to choose this model.
- Check the outlets. A unit imported from another country may have 230V sockets that won't take US plugs.
- Ask about the warranty. Anker lists a 5-year warranty, but ask the seller for the original proof of purchase and check with Anker whether coverage applies to you.
- Compare with the price of a new C1000 Gen 2. If the gap is small, the newer model gives you more capacity, faster charging and a full warranty.
For the original C800 without lights, see our C800 review and our C1000 vs C800 comparison.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the Anker SOLIX C800 Plus discontinued?
Yes, in the US. Anker's US store no longer sells it new, and its product page now leads to the C1000 Gen 2. It was still listed on Anker's Australian store in late September 2026.
What replaced the Anker SOLIX C800 Plus?
Anker points buyers to the C1000 Gen 2: 1,024Wh, 2,000W, full in 49 minutes in UltraFast mode, 24.9 lb. It is not a like-for-like swap: it has more capacity and power but no camping lights. The original C1000 (1,056Wh, 1,800W) keeps a built-in light bar and takes an expansion battery.
What is the difference between the C800 Plus and the C800?
Anker lists both at 768Wh and 1,200W, with 300W of solar input, LFP batteries, app control and 10 ports. The C800 Plus adds the two detachable camping lights. Both are discontinued in the US, and both product pages now lead to the C1000 Gen 2.
How long do the C800 Plus camping lights last?
Anker says up to 8 hours at maximum brightness and up to 130 hours at minimum brightness. The two lights detach from the station and recharge when you put them back on it while it is powered on.
How long will the C800 Plus run a refrigerator?
With our formula (capacity × 0.85 ÷ average draw), about 5.5 hours for a full-size fridge averaging 120W, and about 13 hours for a 12V camping fridge averaging 50W. Check your fridge's label for its real average draw.
Can the C800 Plus work as a UPS?
Yes. Anker gives a 20 ms switchover time, enough for many devices. Desktop computers and some sensitive equipment may need a faster switchover: the C1000 Gen 2 switches in 10 ms.
How long does the C800 Plus battery last?
Anker rates its LFP battery at 3,000 cycles and designs it for about 10 years of use. At one full cycle a day, 3,000 cycles is about 8 years. Anker also lists a 5-year warranty.
