Same battery, same inverter rating: feed a panel and the Jackery wins, plug in appliances and the EcoFlow does.

The EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 and the Jackery HomePower 3000 both store 3,072Wh, deliver 3,600W with a 7,200W surge, take 1,000W of solar and can’t grow. So skip the headline specs. Jackery documents a manual transfer switch for six home circuits, and EcoFlow’s compatibility table names none. For cords and outlets it flips: the DELTA switches in under 10ms, has no published 2,400W cap on its 20A outlets and is rated for 6,000 cycles against 4,000.

Below: the five gaps left once the big numbers cancel out, a 20-second calculator, eight situations picked for this pair, and what reviewers found on the HomePower 3000. As of November 5, 2026, no full independent review of the DELTA 3000 Gen4 had been published.

Quick answer

Prices $200 apart today. Capacity, output, surge, solar and warranty length match, and neither takes an extra battery. The real split: the HomePower 3000 has a documented route into your panel and a 12V socket; the DELTA 3000 Gen4 has a quicker UPS, more outlet headroom and 2,000 more rated cycles.

Bottom line: capacity won’t settle this, because it’s identical. Choose the HomePower 3000 if an electrician will connect it to a manual transfer switch, or if you need a 12V socket. Choose the DELTA 3000 Gen4 if it stays a plug-in box: its 20A outlets carry no published 2,400W cap, its UPS has no published 1,440W ceiling, and it has 2,000 more rated cycles to the same 70% end point.
01 · Differences

The five differences that decide it

Set aside what matches: 3,072Wh of LFP, 3,600W, a 7,200W surge, 1,000W of solar, no battery port, no wheels, 120V only and 3 plus 2 years of warranty. These five gaps are what’s left.

Estimates use 85% usable capacity and 70% of rated solar output. Real results vary with temperature, inverter load, shade and appliance cycling. Fridge and freezer watts are daily averages and do not include compressor startup surges.

Runtime by appliance, one at a time

Simple energy estimates, not measured runtimes. Same 3,072Wh, so the same 2,611Wh usable on both and the same hours in every row. Neither brand’s figure has been confirmed by a published capacity measurement.

Runtime verdict

Same battery, same runtime.

The 3000 Gen4 and the HomePower 3000 both hold about 2,611Wh usable, so every appliance runs just as long on either one.

Runtime = capacity × 0.85 ÷ watts, for that appliance alone. Actual runtime varies with compressor cycling, room temperature and inverter losses. On the HomePower 3000, anything above 2,400W needs the TT-30.

The price gap, in numbers

Price verdict, today

Same 3,072Wh battery: the EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 costs $200 less than the Jackery HomePower 3000.

EcoFlow and Jackery both count cycles down to 70% of capacity, so the second card is a fair match. It only matters if you really cycle the battery: a unit that waits in a closet for three outages a year will age by the calendar first. Neither price covers the HomePower’s transfer switch or the electrician, or EcoFlow’s folding cart.

TakeawaySame Wh, so the per-Wh card simply mirrors the sticker; the cycle card is where these two differ.
04 · Situations

Eight modeled situations, worked out

Same formula as the calculator above: 85% of rated capacity. Because capacity is identical, most of these turn on limits rather than hours.

An outage on the essentials

A 140W average for fridge, router, lights and phones: about 3.4kWh a day
3000 Gen4about 19 h
HomePower 3000about 19 h

A dead heat, and worth knowing before you read anything else: neither carries you through a full day on this plan. Past that point you need sun or a generator, since neither takes a battery.

What EcoFlow’s 58-hour fridge claim means

One refrigerator on the DELTA 3000 Gen4, compared with a 60W average
3000 Gen4 (EcoFlow, empty fridge)58 h claimed
Either unit at 60Wabout 44 h modeled

EcoFlow’s figure comes from its own run with an empty Samsung fridge averaging about 53W, using Fridge Runtime Boost, with no other AC load. A stocked fridge at 60W gets about 44 hours on either battery by our formula.

Space heater and microwave on wall-style outlets

1,500W + 1,100W: about 2,600W across two regular 20A outlets
3000 Gen4No lower cap published
HomePower 3000Over the 2,400W shared limit

Jackery says its four 20A outlets share 2,400W, so this pair needs the TT-30 and an adapter. EcoFlow rates each outlet at 20A and publishes no shared limit under 3,600W. Confirm that in the manual when it’s posted.

A 1,600W load riding on UPS

A workstation, a monitor and a sump pump plugged in while the grid is up
3000 Gen4Inside the 1,800W AC input
HomePower 3000Over the 1,440W cap

Jackery limits bypass and UPS mode to 1,440W, and its manual advises one device at a time. EcoFlow’s FAQ says grid and battery share a load that passes the AC input. It doesn’t support HID, so a PC won’t shut itself down.

Six circuits on a manual transfer switch

Fridge, furnace blower, lights and outlets fed through the panel
3000 Gen4Nothing listed
HomePower 3000Six circuits at 120V

This is the HomePower’s clearest win. The switch is sold separately and needs an electrician. EcoFlow’s compatibility table names no Smart Home Panel or transfer switch for this model, so don’t plan around one.

A 30A RV cord and a 12V cooler

RV shore cord plus a 12V compressor cooler
3000 Gen430A outlet, no 12V socket
HomePower 3000TT-30, 12V socket

Both have a 30A outlet; EcoFlow’s spec sheet just says 30A, and its photos show a TT-30 shape. Jackery warns that an RV needs a grounding adapter. Only the HomePower runs the cooler from a 12V socket.

A garage at 10°F

The unit stored and running below 14°F, no charging
3000 Gen4Below its 14°F limit
HomePower 3000Runs, 2,000W max

EcoFlow stops at 14°F. Jackery goes to 5°F, with output capped at 2,000W between 5°F and 14°F. Neither charges below 32°F, so a winter refill still happens indoors.

Cycled once a day from solar

A full refill most days: about 4.4 hours of full sun at 1,000W and 70%
3000 Gen4about 16 years
HomePower 3000about 11 years

Same solar input, same refill time. At one cycle a day, the rated counts run out after about 16 and 11 years, to the same 70% end point. Only heavy users will reach either; calendar aging and heat count too.

Does it connect to a home panel? The Jackery HomePower 3000 feeds up to six circuits at 120V through a manual transfer switch sold separately. EcoFlow’s table lists no panel or switch for the EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4.

Does it prepare for storms? Storm Guard 2.0 on the EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 uses National Weather Service data to recharge early, depending on region, network and settings. We found no equivalent listed for the Jackery HomePower 3000.

Can it charge off-peak? The Jackery HomePower 3000’s Charging Plan schedules charging around peak and off-peak hours. The EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4’s US page doesn’t list a schedule.

Can it start a generator by itself? EcoFlow’s automatic start works through the extra battery port, which the EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 lacks. Jackery lists nothing like it for the Jackery HomePower 3000.

Does it work as a UPS? The EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 switches in under 10ms but can’t signal a PC to shut down. The Jackery HomePower 3000 switches within 20ms and limits UPS mode to 1,440W.

Can you add a battery later? No on both: the EcoFlow DELTA 3000 Gen4 and the Jackery HomePower 3000 stay at 3,072Wh.

13 · Practical limits

Practical limits before you buy

  1. Neither one grows. If 3kWh might feel small in a year, look at a model with a battery port.
  2. Don’t count on the 58-hour fridge figure. It’s EcoFlow’s run with an empty fridge, one compressor appliance and no other AC load.
  3. The HomePower’s 3,600W lives on one outlet. The four 20A outlets share 2,400W, so big loads need the TT-30.
  4. EcoFlow’s manual wasn’t available to us. The outlet limit above comes from its spec sheet and FAQ.
  5. Neither has wheels. EcoFlow sells a folding cart; Jackery relies on two side handles.
  6. The DELTA won’t charge while switched off. It turns itself on when power arrives, per EcoFlow’s FAQ.
  7. An RV hookup on the HomePower needs a grounding adapter, Jackery says.
  8. Jackery’s two solar inputs want matching panels. Same model and count on each, per its manual.

Yes. Both store 3,072Wh of LFP, deliver 3,600W, surge to 7,200W and take 1,000W of solar. The DELTA weighs 57.3 lb and the HomePower 59.5 lb.

Which one is better on UPS?

The DELTA 3000 Gen4: under 10ms against within 20ms, and Jackery caps UPS mode at 1,440W. Neither is a 0ms professional UPS. EcoFlow has no HID link, and Jackery advises against medical or data equipment.

Which lasts longer?

On paper, the DELTA 3000 Gen4: 6,000 cycles against 4,000, both to 70% of capacity. EcoFlow’s figure comes from lab conditions.

Can I run a 12V cooler from them?

From the HomePower 3000’s 10A socket, yes. EcoFlow lists no 12V socket on the DELTA 3000 Gen4, so a cooler needs its own AC adapter.

Has anyone reviewed the DELTA 3000 Gen4?

Not in full. As of November 5, 2026, no full independent review of the DELTA 3000 Gen4 had been published. Its figures here come from EcoFlow’s US product page and FAQ.

Does either one take an extra battery?

No. Jackery calls the HomePower 3000 a standalone system, and the DELTA 3000 Gen4 has no battery port, which also rules out automatic generator start.
