Privacy Policy

Last Updated: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how BackupPowerHub (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit backuppowerhub.com or subscribe to our emails.

Information We Collect:

We collect information that you provide directly to us, including:

  • Your email address, if you sign up for our emails or price alerts
  • The page where you signed up, the form you used, and any optional choices you make in it (for example, the brands you are watching, the size of power station you are considering, or the brand you own)
  • Your name and email address, if you contact us
  • Your name, email address, and IP address, if you leave a comment

We also collect technical information automatically, through cookies and analytics (see below).

How We Use Your Information:

  • To send the emails you asked for: welcome emails, buying and setup guides, and price alerts, which include deals on products we may earn a commission on
  • To tailor those emails to your interests, based on the page where you signed up and the choices you made
  • To respond to your inquiries
  • To improve our website content and analyze site traffic and usage patterns
  • To protect our forms against spam and abuse
  • To comply with legal obligations

Our Emails:

We use Kit (kit.com), an email platform based in the United States, to store subscriber information and send our emails. Kit processes this information on our behalf. It also records whether our emails are delivered and opened, and which links are clicked, which helps us send more relevant content.

Every email includes a one-click unsubscribe link. Once you unsubscribe, we stop sending you marketing emails. We keep your information while you are subscribed, and we may remove subscribers who have not engaged with our emails for an extended period. Kit may keep a record of unsubscribed addresses so that your choice is respected.

We do not sell or rent your email address.

Spam Protection:

Our signup forms include a hidden anti-spam field and may use Cloudflare Turnstile, which processes your IP address and browser information to tell people and automated bots apart. To limit abuse, we also count signup attempts from the same IP address; this count is stored as a one-way code, not as your IP address, and deleted after one hour.

Cookies and Analytics:

We use cookies and similar technologies to understand how visitors use our site:

  • Google Analytics records pages viewed, clicks on affiliate links, and completed signups. We do not send email addresses to Google.
  • Microsoft Clarity records how visitors interact with our pages (clicks, scrolling, and mouse movements) to help us improve usability.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Affiliate Links:

We participate in affiliate programs, mainly through Impact, with brands such as Jackery, EcoFlow, BLUETTI, and Anker SOLIX. When you click an affiliate link on our site or in our emails, the brand and the affiliate network may set cookies to credit us for your purchase. We may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. See our Affiliate Disclosure for details.

Hosting and Security:

Our website is hosted by Hostinger and delivered through Cloudflare. Both process IP addresses and technical data to deliver the site and protect it against attacks.

International Transfers:

Some of the providers listed above, including Kit, Google, Microsoft, and Cloudflare, are based in the United States. When your information is transferred outside your country, these providers rely on legal safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Your Rights:

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal information
  • Request correction of your information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw your consent and unsubscribe from our emails at any time
  • Object to or restrict certain uses of your information

If you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, you can also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Children:

Our website and emails are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
